Halloween Scariness

It was a horror never before experienced in this small village by the sea. Life was simple, governed only by the changing of the seasons and the lines that spread across your face as the years swept past.

The Darkness came and villagers disappeared, only to reappear in an horrific state and shape.

The night became a time to hide, to cry out in fear with each strange sound and loud bump in the night.

She would appear when the moon did not shine and in the darkness that swept along her feet many men were captured, enticed by her evil beauty.

But men were not her only victims.

As she appeared in the night many children fell victim to her sweet sounding voice and promises of wishes being granted and fun to be enjoyed. All lies of course, but who could protect the children?

The evil had spread to the children when the Daughter of Darkness appeared. Being of small stature and lilting words she was the most dangerous evil that came into the village during these awful years.
